Praise Him Through The Good And The Bad

Praising God is not an option, it is our highest calling.  You and I have been called to praise.  When circumstances are good, it is easier to praise God, but when things are bad is when we must praise God the most.  When we praise God we are acknowledging that He is the source of all our blessings and not we ourselves.  It is God that gives us wealth and every good thing, therefore it is our duty and calling to acknowledge Him regardless of what we are going through, having faith and belief that He will bring us out of every dark valley.

People who do not know God and have no relationship with Him point the finger of accusation at Him anytime something goes wrong, but those who know Him, those who have a relationship and have faith in Him must give Him praise even when things are going wrong because praise is what is due to Him.

The Bible says in Psalm 23, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want..."  God cares about your needs, He said you shall not want for anything, He is our provider and He has a plan to provide for you if only you will acknowledge Him and praise Him in the midst of your trials.  When our soul is troubled Psalm 23 vs 3 assures us, "He restores my soul;..."  He will restore your soul, He will give you peace and provide for you out of His abundance of riches in heavenly places.  I pray that your soul will be restored if it is troubled, and that the Lord will lead you in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

No matter how bad your situation is right now, I encourage you, do not be afraid because the Lord says in Psalm 23 vs 4, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,"I will fear no evil..."  Why is the Bible encouraging us not to be afraid of evil?  Because Psalm 23 vs 4 further assures us of this fact, "...For you are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me..."  I pray that you will have an attitude of gratitude and praise Him at all times because He has promised that He will never leave you nor forsake you.  He is always there for us.  You may not know it, you may not feel it, but He is there at all times, especially in the valley, He comforts us and sticks with us when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, ill health, unpaid bills, anxiety, fear, panic attacks, depression, separation, divorce etc.  He is there believe it or not.  I pray that you will put your trust in Him and lean on Him.  Cry out to God, He will be there for you.  Praise Him at all times.

I encourage you today, anytime you feel low, your faith is failing or you have no faith at all, come here and listen to the words of this song.  Let it minister to your troubled soul.  Listen to the words of this song, let it soothe you and encourage you.  May the Lord's goodness and His mercy follow you all the days of your life and may you dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

When I am down and feeling low, praise is what I do, why don't you try and praise Him?  God bless you and lift you up as you do.

May the LORD be your Shepherd Today and Everyday

1 The LORD is my shepherd;
         I shall not want.

Prayer:     May the LORD be your shepherd, today, everyday, every night and every moment of every day. The LORD is the great Pastor of the universe, our Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. May He shepherd and pastor you in everyway. As sheep is preserved on a farm by the shepherd, may the LORD preserve you and your family, may you find safety in Him and may He watch over you all the days of your life. May you taste the goodness of the living God in all that you lay your hands to do.

2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
       He leads me beside the still waters.

Prayer:     You may not have a lot, but if you have tasted God in all His goodness, you will know that He is good. I pray that you will find green pastures in the living God. He is the God of abundance, He will provide for you. The goodness of God is a green pasture. May you know and taste His goodness all the days of your life. This is where you will find rest for your soul.

3 He restores my soul;
         He leads me in the paths of righteousness
         For His name’s sake.

Prayer:     May you find peace and contentment in the restoration of your soul. If your soul is troubled, may the LORD restore your soul, may He restore your finances, may He restore your children, your marriage, your job and all that concerns you. May the stream which flows from the Fountain of Living waters restore your soul and may Jesus lead and guide you in the path of righteousness, that His Name may be glorified in you. When you walk in the path of righteousness, the LORD will comfort you and deliver you from every affliction. Put your trust in Him, the great Shepherd, hearken to His voice and He will lead you in the right path. He will restore and calm your soul.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
            I will fear no evil;
            For You are with me;
            Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Prayer:     Even when you are going through the most severe and terrible affliction, when you are going through the darkest hour, may the spirit of fear be bound from you and may you have enough strength to conquer your fears, for God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of love and of power and of a sound mind. I pray that your mind will be sound and whole. May you not be lost in the valley of affliction, may you get safe to the mountain on the other side, the mountain of victory and rejoicing. May the LORD rebuke all your enemies and guide and sustain you with His rod and His staff. Underneath you are His Everlasting arms, you are safe and secure in His arms. I pray that you will put your trust in the LORD and believe that your security and safety is in Him. Underneath you are His Everlasting arms. He loves you more than you can ever know.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
           You anoint my head with oil;
           My cup runs over.

Prayer:     May you feast on the Lord’s table. May the LORD provide for you super abundantly. All your enemies will see and be dismayed; their shame shall be multiplied in many ways. May God perform the miraculous in the presence of your enemies. May your cup of salvation be ever full to overflowing and may the anointing of the Holy Spirit overflow in your life and your cup run over in every direction.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
              All the days of my life;
              And I will dwell in the house of the LORD
              Forever.

Prayer:     May the goodness and mercy of the LORD follow you all the days of your life. May the LORD make every situation in your life pleasant and victorious. May all your sorrows turn into joy and may He turn your mourning into dancing again. May your joy be full to overflowing and may your victory be permanent in every aspect of your life. This is my prayer for you, your family and loved ones.

In order to enjoy all of the blessings of Psalm 23, I pray that you will submit your will to the LORD, all that you struggle with, all your pain and past memories, your childhood nightmares and everything that seems like a heavy weight upon your life. Cast your cares on Him, He cares for you.  He will lead and guide you. May all your hopes and desires be fulfilled in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit in Jesus Name. Amen.  He who watches over you neither sleeps nor slumbers.  Underneath you are His Everlasting Arms.

May You Stay Strong In the Midst of Crisis

Without a shadow of doubt, one can surely say the times we are in are very, very challenging times. Sadly, when I sought the Lord’s opinion about this, He gave me an answer that we may all not want to hear, but the truth has to be told, He said, “my daughter, things are not going to get any better, in fact things are going to get much worse across the world.” He said, “Economically, there is a fierce invincible warfare already going on in the realm of the spirit and things are not going to get better. The spirit of fear will play a major role in the decision making and affairs of the rulers of the world. Nations will become more insecure, and because of this they would want to maintain leadership over other Nations, hence we are looking at warfare, both spiritually and physically. The enemy has increased the force of his battle around the world.

In view of this, I would like to encourage you to stay strong and pray like you’ve never prayed before. If you are not keen on prayer, I can't help but say you are leaving yourself open to attack. Prayer is simple; it is communication between you and God. I encourage you to pray for yourself, your family and friends, even for those you are not so keen on. Pray to God, ask Him to cover and protect innocent victims, people going about their daily chores, people travelling on the tubes, the planes, across the sea, on buses and so on. Pray that we will not experience another 9/11 attack or July 7th attack or other attacks and retaliations across the Nations. Pray for the peace of the world, the peace of Jerusalem and peace in the Middle East. Ask God to protect the children, orphans across the world, children who are victims of circumstance and war, abused children, babies, the innocent and the suffering.

We pray that the wisdom of God will guide our leaders and decision makers, so that they can make the right judgements. We pray that they will make peace and not war. We pray that the financial crisis will not get any worse and that the spirit of greed will not overtake our Bankers and lead us into a worse crisis.

Today, I pray for you and your family that God the Creator of Heaven and Earth will protect and watch over you. I pray that you would stay strong in the midst of the crisis and that God will make a way out for you if you are struggling and finding life hard and difficult at the moment. If you have shed a few tears here and there, I pray that God would wipe away your tears and comfort you. May He provide a way of escape for you and give you a solution to your problems. May He meet you at the point of your need, every moment of everyday. I pray that He will strengthen you in your inner man so that you are not moved by what you see, but that you would stand in the midst of adversity. I pray that the peace of God will be your guide and that He Himself, our God, Jehovah Almighty, will be your rear guard, He will uphold you with the right hand of His righteousness and carry you through the difficult moments, the loneliness, fear, anxiety, worry, pain, anger, insecurity, low self esteem and all the attacks of the enemy.

Finally, I leave you with the words of the Bible. I encourage meditating on Isaiah 43:2. This is the Word of the Lord to you:

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;

And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.

When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,

Nor shall the flame scorch you.

Be encouraged and don’t give up. God bless you today and always. Shalom.

May the LORD Cover Your Head In The Day of Battle

This morning, whilst I was meditating on the prayer I was going to write, the Lord gave me the word “Battle”. I wondered what this meant, and then I got a revelation from the Lord that whether we realise it or not, we are in a battle. Just like King David in the Old Testament, we are all in a battle. The battle of life, struggles of all sorts, creating fear and insecurity in the lives of many. Humanity is struggling to remain ruler over all things, trying to grasp the true meaning of life, fighting for power and superiority and looking for an answer that no one is able to give. For the majority, fear has taken over a large percentage of their lives. The era we are in is an era of uncertainty, fear and insecurity, major challenges, battles and struggles.

The current economic climate across the world is a clear indication of the times that we are in. No longer can one rely on their salaries or jobs alone. That era is far gone from us. No longer can we rely on each other anymore, we must not rely on men and means. Many have become “lovers of self”, and everyone is busy trying to make a living to pay bills. The rat race continues without any sign of it stopping. Wherever we are, at home or abroad, we are exposed to danger more than we are aware of.

Thinking about all these, the question that comes to mind is the same question that King David asked whilst he was engaged in battle,

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?”

Answer:

“My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.”

If you are afflicted by sickness, you are in a battle, if you are struggling and finding it hard to pay your bills and your are not able to find a job, you are in a battle, if you are feeling low and depressed, hearing voices of defeat and failure, you are surely in a battle.

David trusted God to cover his head in the day of battle. He realised that he needed help; otherwise he would not survive the battle. He realised that he needed God’s help in order to gain victory. This was what led him to write Psalm 121. This psalm directs and encourages us to rest ourselves and our confidence in God.

I pray that you would rest your heart and put your confidence in God. I pray that by faith you would put yourself under God’s protection and commit yourself to His care, with an entire resignation and satisfaction that your help will come from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

I recommend and encourage you to read and confess Psalm 121 to yourself every night before you go to sleep. There is power in God’s Word.

Please take the time to pray this prayer now and set the spiritual fire in the Word of God in motion in your life.

Your Confession:

1     I (..insert your name..) will lift up my eyes to the hills—
       From whence comes my help?

2     My help comes from the LORD,
       Who made heaven and earth.

3    He will not allow (..insert your name..) foot to be moved;
      He who keeps (..insert your name..) will not slumber.

4    Behold, He who keeps (..insert your name..)
      Shall neither slumber nor sleep.

5    The LORD is (..insert your name..) keeper; (repeat this line x3)
      The LORD is my shade at my right hand.

6    The sun shall not strike (..insert your name..) by day,
      Nor the moon by night.

7    The LORD shall preserve (..insert your name..) from all evil;
      He shall preserve my soul.

8    The LORD shall preserve my going out and my coming in
       From this time forth, and even forevermore.

I agree with you as you appropriate this prayer for yourself in Jesus Name. Amen.

Remember this: “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” (Matthew 11:12) KJV

Go out there and take it by force!

If you are ill, take back your health, take it by force! If you are feeling low and depressed, take back your mental well being, lift up your head and take your wholeness back, take it by force! If you are hearing voices of defeat and failure, take back your success and victory, take it by force! If you are struggling to get a job, or feeling threatened that you might lose your job, claim your victory, confess your victory, claim your job, read the Word, stand on the Word, appropriate it to yourself and take back what belongs to you, by force! If you are struggling with your bills, get your confession right, take the Word of God, sling it at the devil and knock down any Goliath standing before you. God will provide for you, His name is Jehovah Jireh. Go on, take back what belongs to you. Take it by force! Take it now, don’t let go. Take it by force! The victory is yours in Jesus Name. Amen.

May God Elevate You & Your Family in 2011

I was sitting doing my Bible studies sometime in November 2010, when I heard the voice of the Lord say to me "Tell my children who have been faithful to me that next year, 2011, will be their year of elevation."  My first reaction was that of doubt in my mind.  I said, "Lord you know every year people get similar messages like this and nothing happens in their lives, by the middle of the year they are already busy complaining."  The Lord said to me, "The reason why the words never come to pass in their lives is because when the word was initially given, the people receive it but fail to continue to proclaim by faith what they had received and so the devil comes and steals that word from them, so their confession then changes to negative."  Today, I encourage you to be determined not to give up in spite of whatever circumstance you might find yourself.  The word of God is true and He is not a man that He should lie.

Your Message for 2011

This will be your year of elevation.
  • God is going to move you to a higher place spiritually, mentally and physically.  He is going to reposition you from a lower place to a higher one.  He is going to lift you up and reposition you.
  • God is going to raise your rank.  Your status is going to change and He will promote you spiritually, mentally and physically.
  • He will lift up your spirit and elevate you to a higher dimension.
Zechariah 2:5,
For I,’ says the LORD, ‘will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’”

I pray that in 2011 God will be a wall of fire all around you and your loved ones and may He be the glory in your midst.  I pray that He will be the glory in your home, your family, your marriage, your job and all that concerns you.  May you be elevated to a higher place spiritually, mentally and physically and may the favour of God locate you for greater things.  No matter what challenges you may face in 2011, may the Lord surround you as the mountains surround Jerusalem and may He give you the strength to stand and be victorious in all that you do.  May God use all the trouble and hardships to elevate you and may you soar like an eagle as you embrace the storms of life.

In 2011 your blessings will not be quantified, it will come from all directions, so be expectant because there will be great surprises in store for you.  I pray that you will not fall into temptation and  all of the devil's strategies to try and lure you into sin will fail and He will not be victorious concerning you or your loved ones.  May the Lord drown all your enemies in the red sea and may you cross over to the other side and be lifted and elevated in all that you do.

In 2011, every mountain and hill before you will be levelled and brought low.  All the crooked places in your life will be made straight and the rough places smooth.  You shall have the last laugh in Jesus Name.  The glory of the Lord shall be revealed to you and all flesh shall see it together. Concerning you in 2011, may the Word of the Lord stand sure forever.  When you are weak, may the Lord give you the power to stand and increase your strength. May He contend against those who contend against you and fight against those who fight against you.  May He confound and confuse all the plans of the enemy concerning you.  God has chosen you and appointed you to be a ruler in all spheres of life.  I pray that you will rule and reign and call those things that be not as though they were.The Lord will build you a house and the sons of wickedness shall oppress you no more.  In 2011 the Lord will subdue all your enemies and make your name great.  The Lord will plant you and position you in the right place at the right time in Jesus Name and you shall not fail or fall.

This year, don't be in a hurry to do things, for the Bible says in Isaiah 28:16, "... he that believeth shall not make haste."  Be patient and still before the Lord.  Seek His face and ask Him for wisdom in all your decision making.  As you wait upon the Lord in 2011, I pray that God shall renew your strength; you shall mount up with wings like eagles, you shall run and not be weary, you shall walk and not faint.  Remain blessed and hold steadfastly to His word.

Rejoice! Congratulations and welcome to 2011, your year of elevation!

May God daily load you with benefits and turn your disappointments into joy

1 Truly my soul silently waits for God;
From Him comes my salvation.
2 He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be greatly moved.

Today, I pray that your soul will silently wait for God, He is the only one who has all the answers to our problems.  Maybe there are questions you want answered and you are looking for satisfaction for your soul.  I pray that you will patiently and silently wait upon the Lord for an answer from Him.   When you wait upon the Lord, you will find comfort for your soul.  I pray that God will be your Comforter today and everyday.  I pray that you will cheerfully give up yourself and all your affairs to His will and His wisdom.  He alone is our Rock and Salvation.  I pray that the Lord will be your defense, your deliverer and your shield and buckler.  As the mountains surround Jerusalem, may He surround you and yours forever.  If you are getting worried about your job or anything for that matter, I pray that you will not be greatly moved.  I pray that you will wait on God alone and not put your trust in man.  I pray that even if you feel disappointed by friends and family and your relationships do not seem as they should or they are not working out as desired, I pray that you will find refuge in God and that you will not be moved.  May God be your salvation and your glory.  May He be the Rock of your strength.  I pray that God will intervene on your case and make all things work together for your good.  If you are in pain or have been hurt by loved ones, colleagues or friends.  I pray that God will bring healing to your soul and set you free from the pain you are feeling.  I pray that you will forgive and release those who have hurt you so that your blessings will not be delayed.  The Bible says in Psalm 62:

9, "Men of low degree are a vapor and men of high degree are a lie; If they are weighed on the scales, They are altogether lighter than vapor.
10 ..., Do not set your heart on them."

God will render to each man according to their works, so do not put your trust in man, only let your soul silently wait on God alone.  He alone is able to deliver.

It is God that brings out those who are bound into prosperity.  I pray that God will bring you out into prosperity.  I pray that He will give you peace and send you abundance of rain from His goodness .  I pray that God will daily load you with benefits and that your land will produce.  May your joy be full, may your relationships be restored and all that you do prosper now and always.  God bless you abundantly now and always.

May the LORD Sustain You and Give You Strength

My prayer for you today is in Psalm 3, a Psalm of David when he fled from Absalom his son.

"And David said unto all his servants who were with him at Jerusalem, "Arise, and let us flee, for we shall not else escape from Absalom. Make speed to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword." (2Sa 15:13-14 KJV)

This action by David’s own son was a very grievous matter to him and he was afraid of what might happen, so he left Jerusalem in flight for fear of death at the hands of his own son. (You can read the full story in 2 Samuel chapter 15)

Maybe you are worried, anxious and afraid. It might be that you are in fear of impending doom or bad news, considering the uncertain times that the world is in right now and the fear of the unknown, worry about how you are going to sustain yourself and your family, fear of not being able to pay the bills or fear of losing your job is weighing so heavily on your heart and you don’t know what to do. You might be going through a lot right now and like David you are afraid, feeling low and you don’t know where to turn, you are afraid and worried of what might happen to you.

My prayer for you is in Psalm 3:1-8,

1 LORD, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me.
2 Many are they who say of me, “There is no help for him in God.”
3 But You, O LORD, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.
4 I cried to the LORD with my voice, And He heard me from His holy hill.

Even though you might be going through stormy weather and troubled times and everything seems to be going against you and your circumstances and situation is difficult. Although many may say of you that there is no help for you in God, I pray that the Lord will be a shield for you and that He will be the glory and the lifter up of your head. I pray that when you cry to the Lord with your voice He will hear from the heavens and answer you in your distress.

5 I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the LORD sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have set themselves against me all around.

I pray that when you sleep at night, the peace of God will surround you, and when you wake up, the Lord will sustain you and give you strength. I pray that when you are feeling fearful and panicky, the Lord will guard your heart and give you a sound mind. I pray that you will not be afraid of what man will do to you because if God be for you then no man can be against you. I pray that you will lean not on your own understanding but in all your ways you will acknowledge the Lord and He will direct your path and lead you in the way you should go. I pray that confusion will not be your portion and that the peace of the Lord will be your guide in these difficult times.

Please kneel down now and pray now.

Pray that the Lord will forgive your past wrongdoings and surrender your life to Him now. Ask Him to come and help you and lead you. Ask Him to show you the way and lead you in the path of righteousness. He loves you and is always willing to help those who surrender their will to Him and ask Him into their lives.

7 Arise, O LORD; Save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone; You have broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 Salvation belongs to the LORD. Your blessing is upon Your people.

Finally, I pray that the Lord will arise concerning you; He will save you and set you free from the attacks of the enemy. I pray that you will also arise and shine and experience the peace, victory and salvation that come from walking with the Lord. I pray that the blessing of the Lord will be upon you and that the arm of the Lord will save you, sustain you and bring you through these difficult times and that your hope and expectation will not be cut off. I pray that as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so will the Lord surround you, your family and your loved ones forever. Put your hope in Him and He will never disappoint you. He said, “I will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on me because they trust in me.”

No matter how difficult things might be, I encourage you today to put your trust in the Lord and He will carry you through. May the grace God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit be upon you and abide with you. May His countenance shine upon you and give you peace in Jesus Name, Amen.

May the LORD heed the voice of your cry

When the family breaks down, almost every aspect of life breaks down. Relationships break down, friendships breakdown, homes break down and nothing seems to come together. God created family to love, care, nurture, guide and support us. He created family to always be there for us. In so many families, this is not so. Many have been abused, despised and left to suffer. Family is important to God, your family is important to God, YOU are important to God. He loves you and will not leave you forsaken. Even though man may have left you forsaken, God will not leave you forsaken if only you put your trust in Him. He wants to help and is always there in times of need, but can we trust Him enough to believe that He can deliver?

If your home is broken or is breaking down and you don’t know what to do, I pray that God will be there for you to heal and set you free from pain, anger, frustration, hopelessness, worthlessness, insecurity, loneliness and low self esteem. I pray that He will deliver you from depression, oppression and bondage to sin, and when you cry out to Him, He will hear you and deliver you. “I cried to the LORD with my voice, And He heard me from His holy hill.” (Psalm 3:4). I pray that you will open up to God and be honest and admit that you need His help, His love, His guidance and support. You need Him to be a father to you where your father was never there, you need Him to hold you up and sustain you in times of trouble. You need to feel His presence around you. Cry to the Lord and He will hear you and answer you. Make this your prayer:

1 Give ear to my words, O LORD,

Consider my meditation.
2 Give heed to the voice of my cry,
My King and my God,
For to You I will pray.
3 My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD;
In the morning I will direct it to You,
And I will look up.

For those who grew up in a loving, caring and supportive family environment, I pray that you will be able to share your love with others and be supportive to those who do not have what you have. The Bible commands us to give and it shall be given unto us. I pray that as you give of the love invested in you, God will bless you and your family more and more and use you as an instrument of His love and a vessel of honour. I pray that you will not be found wanting emotionally, materially or mentally. I pray that all will be well with you and yours and in all that you do you will prosper. I pray that God will be a shield to your family and the glory and lifter up of your head.

If you have been abused and despised, I pray that God will be your healer and set you free from the bondage of pain and despair. He cares for you, I know He does. May God be with you at all times and hold your hands through this difficult walk of life and help you in all things at all times. I pray that He will restore you and settle your mind and make you whole again. God bless you as you make the following Psalm your prayer and daily confession:

Psalm 27: 1, 3, 5, 7-11
1 The LORD is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?

3 Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident.

5 For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.

7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice!
Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

8 When You said, “Seek My face,”
My heart said to You, “Your face, LORD, I will seek.”

9 Do not hide Your face from me;
Do not turn Your servant away in anger;
You have been my help;
Do not leave me nor forsake me,
O God of my salvation.

10 When my father and my mother forsake me,
Then the LORD will take care of me.

11 Teach me Your way, O LORD,
And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.

May God hide you in the cleft of His Rock

I heard God say to me this morning, “My daughter, please let my children know that I am thinking of them”. So, dear reader, my fellow believer, God says He is thinking of you. He is watching over you. He who watches over you neither sleeps nor slumbers.

The Bible says in Psalm 121,
5 The LORD is your keeper; The LORD is your shade at your right hand.

6 The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night.

7 The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.

8 The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.

He thinks about you daily, every second and every minute of every day. He cares about you and is always concerned with things that bother you. You cannot begin to comprehend His love for you. So, why don’t you take some time and just cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you. He wants to give you rest.

The Bible instructs us in 1 Peter 5: 7-8, to:
7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

My prayer for you today is that you will not fall prey to the devil. If he looks around for you, he will not find you. May God hide you in the cleft of His Rock, safe from all evil. May you be able to resist the devil and all the pressures that life throws at you. May God uphold you with the right hand of His righteousness. I pray that you will stand firm in faith and may God Himself restore you and keep you strong. May He keep you firm and steadfast forever and ever, from this day forward in Jesus Name. Amen.

Remember, according to Psalm 121 verse 3:

3 He will not let your foot slip—

He who watches over you will not slumber …

Have a blessed and peaceful day:-)

MAY YOU SING A NEW SONG TO THE LORD (Part 1)

My prayer for you today is that you will be able to sing a new song unto the Lord God your Maker, the Holy One of Israel, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I pray that you will sing a new song unto our God, the Bush that is burning but never consumed. Sing unto Jehovah Jireh, your provider, unto Jehovah Nissi, your Banner, sing unto Jehovah Yahweh, the Almighty. I pray you will sing and praise Him for His acts of power. Praise Him for His surpassing greatness. Praise Him in His Sanctuary and praise Him in His mighty heavens. God says unto you, “My son, my daughter, my beloved, I desire that you praise Me in this hour, in this time, more than you’ve ever done before and you will see your enemies flee before you.

I heard the Holy Spirit say to me this morning that He desires His children to begin to sing a new song unto Him. He wants you to open your mouth and sing instead of complain, sing instead of moan, sing in the midst of trials, sing when you are feeling low, sing when you are feeling high, sing in spite of what you might be going through, sing, sing, sing. Sing unto the Lord a new song. I pray that the Lord God will give you a new song to sing this year and may His praises never depart from your lips. May the fruits of your lips give Him praise.

Your singing will bring victory and deliverance into your situation. It will bring victory and deliverance to your household; it will bring victory and deliverance to your marriage, your children, and all that concerns you. You will be energised and refreshed by the Spirit of God. The Hosts of heaven will visit you and deliver you. Your praise will attract the Hosts of heaven into your circumstances and all your enemies will be scattered. So, praise Him when things are tough, praise Him when times are good. Praise Him in the morning, praise Him in the daytime, praise Him when the sun goes down.

The Bible says in Psalm 150 vs 6, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” If you have breath, praise the Lord. Why, because praise is a weapon of war. When you sing and praise, your enemies will become confused, demoralised, discouraged and disengaged. Your singing is a weapon against the enemy of your soul, Satan. Satan prefers to hear you complain and moan than to praise and worship. When you fulfill his desire by complaining and moaning, you equip him with weapons of defeat that he would then use to fight against you. When you moan and complain, the enemy becomes attracted to you. It’s like an invitation, a song, the sort of confession he likes to hear. It energises the camp of the enemy. The more you complain, the more he is energised for attack, but when you make the choice to start singing and praising God regardless of your circumstances, the enemy becomes confused and scattered. When you sing to the Holy Spirit, evil spirits will leave (Read 1 Samuel 16:23). May your singing birth uncommon events in your life. As you sing, may your enemies be smitten before you.

“And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten,” (2 Chronicles 20:22 NKV)

God bless you as you walk in obedience today and sing a new song unto the Lord.

May This Be A Year of Permanent Change for You

Happy New Year to you!

I pray that this year will be a totally different year for you, an unusual year of favour, health and well being.

Every year we make resolutions and write down things we want to do and habits we would like to change. I pray that this year your change will be permanent for good in Jesus Name. We are challenged every year to meet expectations, fulfill demands and do better than the previous year. By the grace of Almighty God, you will certainly do better this year than last year. We are constantly looking forward to making changes and making things better in our lives but at the end of each year we are sometimes disappointed at how little we have achieved and how far we have gone in achieving the goals we set at the beginning of the year. This year may your expectations not be cut off in Jesus Name. Usually we start each New Year with a lot of hope and enthusiasm but at the end of the year we are left with not much hope so we look forward to the next year with more promises and new resolutions. This year I pray will be a fulfilling year for you.

May your home be restored and filled with peace, may your children be blessed and protected by the Spirit of the Lord. He has given His angels charge over you and your family lest you dash your foot against a stone. May you never strike your foot against a stone. This year you will not mourn in Jesus Name. Disaster will not come near your dwelling. God will make you and your loved ones dwell in safety and He will watch over you and perfect that which concerns you. May your marriage be blessed, may your extended family be blessed, may you be satisfied with good things and may you grow in the knowledge of the Lord more and more. Whatever may be broken in your relationships either in your marriage, family or friends, may it be restored back to its former glory in Jesus Name. As from today, I decree peace to you in your home and I break every cord of strife over your life and your family life. It shall be well with you this year and beyond and you shall have every reason to rejoice in Jesus Name. You will achieve the unachievable and God will do the impossible for you. You will experience God in a very different and dynamic way this year and He will reveal a different dimension of Himself to you. This year may your hunger and thirst for His righteousness be greater in you.

You will live and not die

You will live and not die. Repeat it to yourself, “I will live and not die”. Say it again, “I will live and not die”. Again, “I will live and not die in Jesus Name!” I agree with you, heaven has heard your confession and the whole of heaven agrees with you. It is done. You shall live and not die! Speak to your dry bones and they shall live! Your finances shall come back to life, your job shall live, your home shall live, your family shall live, your health shall be alive and vibrant, you will not die, your finances will not dry up, your marriage shall live, there will be no death in all that concerns you and you will hear good news in Jesus Name.

If you are single, you will marry. You will not just marry anybody; you will marry the right person whom God has chosen for you. You will not marry a counterfeit, a Jezebel or a liar. You will not marry someone else’s wife or husband, you will marry your own, the person that God has predestined for you before the beginning of time. There shall be no barrenness in you or in your seed. Even in old age, you will still marry. God has not written you off so no man has the right to write you off. Please do not write yourself off and don’t give up. Even though it may tarry, it shall surely come to pass. For those of you who have waited for so long, be still and know that He is God. Concerning you, He will not fail to deliver.

The Secret to Success

I would like to share what the Lord ministered to me at the beginning of this year regarding why we do not accomplish much with our yearly resolutions, goals and visions and why we sometimes end up being disappointed by the end of the year. I hope that you will be blessed and inspired by it. Please take your time and carefully read to the end.

The Lord shared with me that in order for us to achieve the goals, visions and resolutions set, we must first of all recognise and acknowledge His Holy Spirit as a Person and not a thing. He said we live our lives wanting much and demanding a lot but we fail to recognise that He does nothing without the participation of the Holy Spirit. Do you know that the Holy Spirit is not a Dove? He is a person. He is not wind or fog, He is a person. He is not fire, He is not an “it”, He is…“Him”. He is alive; He is a person, the third person of the Trinity. He is not some wind blowing everywhere, He is a person. He talks, He thinks and He plans. Wind cannot talk, fire cannot counsel, a Dove cannot teach. All these are just symbols. The Holy Spirit is our teacher, our mentor and our counsellor.

We have God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We would usually recognise and acknowledge the first two persons in the Trinity but we fail to recognise or communicate with the third person. The Lord said I should bring it to your attention that they are three in One and that the Holy Spirit is the very Spirit of the Living God. He cannot and should not be separated from the other two. The three do not do anything without the participation of the other, which is why they are three in One. They are in unity; they work in unity and they do not do anything without each other. The Holy Spirit is the manifestation of the heart of God unto men. He is the voice of the Godhead to us.

If you want to know the secret of success then you must come into partnership with the Holy Spirit. If you really want to hear from God, then you must come into partnership with the Holy Spirit. If you want fulfillment in life, then you must come into partnership with the Holy Spirit. He is the secret of success. God said He will reveal to us the hidden riches of the secret places, you will never find the secret places without revelation from the Holy Spirit. He is the One that reveals all truth. If you want your desires to be granted then you must delight yourself in the Lord and acknowledge His Holy Spirit as a person to be communicated with and not to be ignored. He doesn’t want a passive, dead and silent relationship. He wants and longs for an active relationship with you. The Holy Spirit talks, He thinks and He plans. God has plans for you this year, He is thinking about you right now and He wants to talk with you and share with you all the plans He has for you. He is asking that you come closer and spend time with Him. The Bible mentions Him as being our Teacher, our Helper, our Guide, our Comforter. He is our Mentor. He leads and He guides. He wants to teach you and show you the way you should go. He wants to use you to change and transform lives. He is alive, He is a person and he desires an active relationship with you.

Without you asking Him to help you this year, you are already destined for failure. If you want to be great, acknowledge the Holy Spirit, talk to Him, spend time with Him. If you want to write successful books that will minister to the world, invite the Holy Spirit to teach you how to write, acknowledge your weakness and allow Him to be your strength. He does not take over unless He is invited. He is not rude, He is sweet and gentle. So why don’t you invite Him in right now and just
pray this prayer:

“Holy Spirit, Spirit of the living God, I invite you right now to come and play an active role in my life. I repent and I am sorry for not acknowledging your person like I should. Help me to develop an active relationship with you. Help me and teach me to hear your voice. Help me to be dependent on you and the wisdom you impart into me. Teach me to know you, recognise you and acknowledge you in all that I do. Whenever I ignore you, help me to be aware and turn back to you. I want to talk with you, walk with you, fellowship with you and spend more time with you. Help me to find and create time for you. You are a significant part of my life and I need you now more than ever before. I need you in my home, in my family and in all that I do. Come and help me at work, help my marriage, help my relationships. Teach me to be a good wife, a good husband, a good father, a good mother and a good friend. Help me to grow in the knowledge of the Word of God. Help me in my areas of weakness and develop your strength in me. Help me to be confident and be content with what I have and who I am. I want to know you more. Help me to know you more. Teach me to pray, teach me to love and help me to be who you want me to be. Help me to be as bold as a lion, so I can declare your Word to others who do not know you. Most of all, I ask you to help me to love my neighbour as myself. Please forgive me of all acts of unrighteousness and renew your Spirit within me. All these I ask of the Father, through our Lord Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Holy Spirit for agreeing with the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ to be my Comforter, my Helper, my Aid and my Guide. Take your place in me now and let the will of the Father be done in me.” Amen.

May God's Anchor of Peace Keep You Steady

My prayer for you today is that no matter what your circumstances may be, the anchor of peace will keep you steady. I pray that you will not give up now that you’ve come so far in the journey. Your destination has been mapped out by God and He will never fail because He said His Words will never fail. May His perfect peace navigate you through the storms of life as you steady your mind on Him.

Peace is a blessing from God, it is meant to guard and guide you. I pray that you will not abandon ship whilst it is still at sea because you will run the risk of drowning. God wants to keep you in perfect peace but He requires that your mind be stayed on Him and that you wholly put your trust in Him. Haven’t you struggled enough? He is the author and the giver of peace. You cannot find peace when you wrongly focus on the negative. Peace does not come by arguing, it does not come through avarice (an extremely strong want to get or keep money or possessions). Peace does not come by accommodating enemies such as envy, anger and pride. Perfect peace can only be achieved by staying, focusing and putting your trust in God. He is the Author and Finisher of your faith. He loves you and He is willing to help but you must be totally reliant on Him.

Today, my prayer for you is in Psalm 91,

May God be your refuge and strength; may He be a very present help in your time of trouble. I pray therefore that you will not fear, even though the earth be removed and the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. Though it’s waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with it’s swelling.

I pray you will experience the river of peace, whose streams make glad the city of God, the Holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. God is in the midst of you. You shall not be moved by the spirit of adversity, raging storms or the turbulence of life. God shall help you just at the break of dawn. May God utter His voice concerning you and may the mountain of your problems melt away in Jesus Name. The LORD of Hosts is with you; the God of Jacob is your refuge.

I pray that you will be still and know that He is God; He will be exalted among the nations; He will be exalted in the earth. He will be exalted in your circumstances; He will be exalted in your home, in your marriage, in your ministry and in all that concerns you.

The LORD of Hosts is with you; the God of Jacob is your refuge.
Say it and confess it, “The LORD of Hosts is with me, (put your name here); the God of Jacob is my refuge.

I agree and believe with you that the LORD of Hosts is with you; the God of Jacob will never leave nor forsake you.

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Congratulations, you’ve got the victory!

May God Help You In Times of Weakness

Our emotions have a great effect on our lives and on the lives of others. We cannot stop them from coming but we have a choice as to the level of control it has over our lives.

I pray for you today that you will be slow to anger and exercise more patience in your life. I pray that you will give others the benefit of the doubt and learn to pray for and forgive those who have hurt you. I know this cannot always be easy, but my prayer is that God will give you the strength and grace so that you will be able to maintain peace in your own life by not allowing others to control your emotions and get you angry all the time. If you can control your anger, you will have greater understanding of how to deal with the same issue next time, but if you are quick to anger and you allow people to push you into losing your temper all the time, this will expose your weakness as a person. It will give others the opportunity to have a bad opinion of you and you might be made to look foolish and embarrassed.

God cares about you and He will perfect that which concerns you. He loves you dearly. He knows we are not perfect and we all have areas of weakness. The Bible mentions that His power will be made perfect in our weakness. He is always willing to help if we cry out to Him and ask Him to help us. I pray that God will perfect His power in you and help you to overcome any form of weakness in your life.

His thoughts towards you are of good and not of evil to bring you to an expected end. You are an overcomer. I pray that you will overcome all obstacles and any form of weakness that may cause you to lose control of your emotions. May the goodness of God follow you wherever you go, may His mercy abound towards you and may His favour never depart from you and your household.

I pray that you will learn to exercise patience in all that you do and as you do this, may the peace of God that passes all understanding guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

In the words of Elizabeth Kenny, “He who angers you conquers you.” I pray that you will not allow anyone to anger you. May God bless you as you learn to exercise more patience. In the words of St. Augustine,
“Patience is the companion of wisdom.”

May God Strengthen and Increase You

God is the great I AM. He is Jehovah Jireh, your provider. May He provide for you today and evermore. He is Jehovah Shammah, the Lord who is always there. May the Lord always be there in every moment of your day. He is Jehovah Shalom, your peace. May the peace of God that passes all understanding guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. He is Jehovah Nissi, your banner. His banner over you is love. May you know and come to experience His love in a very deep and special way. He is Jehovah Rapha, your healer. If you are going through any form of pain, may He be your Healer. He is Jehovah-Raah, your Shepherd. As a shepherd watches over his sheep, may the Lord continually watch over you and protect you from any form of evil. He is Adonai, your Master and Jehovah Mekoddishkem, the Lord Who sanctifies you. May the Lord lead you and direct you, may He sanctify you and give you peace in these troubled times.

The Bible mentions God as being El-Shaddai, the many breasted One. No matter how many of His children seek Him for help, he will never deny nor turn any one away. He always has a listening ear to hear our cries. I pray at this moment in time that God will hear all your heart’s cries. God is right now listening to those deep things that you find difficult to share with someone else. My prayer is that you will trust Him enough to let go and let Him take those worries from you. He cares for you and He will never leave you nor forsake you. I feel God saying to you, “Trust Me in this, I will not let you down”.

Maybe things have not been so great lately, maybe a lot has been going wrong in your life and things are probably not working out as you hoped it would. I encourage you to calm down and take one day at a time; do not take on tomorrow’s burdens today. Learn to leave the pain and disappointment of yesterday behind and look forward to a new day. The day has a way of working itself out if only we leave things alone and not worry ourselves thin in trying to make things happen. So, I encourage you today, why don’t you let go and let God? He is able to perfect that which concerns you. Trust in Him and He will carry you through. The pain of today is for the benefit of tomorrow. He is working it all out for your good. No matter how bad things are, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Keep looking forward and moving forward and you will reach where the light is. Don’t give up now, God is on your side and He will not let you down. Have hope and it shall be well with you.

God bless you today and always. Weeping may endure for a moment, but your joy will come in the morning!
